Main actors in this photo album are 90 professionals, academics and Ph. D. students in Social Work from 16 countries all over the world who joined the first International Summer Academy in Russia from August 29 - September 6, 2003. The subject was the future of Social Work ("Mapping the way forward"). The scenery was Saint Petersburg, a 5 million inhabitants city in Russia celebrating its 300 years jubilee. The photographs reflect the good atmosphere amongst the participants. It was great at times. Many of the participants intend to join the "Saint Pee Summer Academy" next year again.
